Let’s take a walk downtown; You and me, hand in hand. Let our enemies see us and frown. Let’s do this baby, let’s take a chance. Tell the whole world I’m your No. 1 Make them understand that I’m your Queen. And after all is said and done, In my heart, you shall be King. Let’s take a walk, my baby boy. The year met me with the cult resolution . An avalanche of to-do's Flooded my diary; A new year's guide, A year without you. The times slipped through My weary hands With unmet goals and contrition. Resolution forsook me. Now, where do I go from here? Resolution, or revolution? Change of plans, Or change in execution? I'm coming back to the waters Where every old self is entombed, And all things, made new. I'm coming back to the waters Where we first met, And you unravelled my enigma; A pile of regrets, cloaked in actions and inactions. I'm coming back to the waters. I have my way no more. Will's not mine. Will's the Lord's
